On Tuesday, May 1 we will be launching a new software system. Our goal is to increase customer service, provide greater functionality, and become more efficient to serve our customers.
Changes you will notice
Starting on May 1, you may notice a few things that are different.
We will likely be a bit slow at first!
Change is hard for any organization, and we ask for your patience and understanding as we adapt to our new system. Some things may take a bit longer, especially in the first few weeks. We’ll get up to speed as quick as possible, but there are bound to be some bumps in the road.
The documents you get from us will look different.
Formatting changes will be noticeable on our invoices, order confirmations, account statements and other forms. Just let us know if you have questions about the new formatting.
Important changes for our cash account customers.
Beginning May 1, we will no longer be able to keep credits on your account if you have a cash account with us. All returns will be refunded to your credit card, or placed on a Master’s Craft gift card that can be used like cash at any TMC location. Read more about changes for our cash account customers here.
Training will be on-going for several weeks
For the past several weeks, our employees have been working hard doing their regular jobs and training to learn this new system. More training will be required as we implement new phases of our plan.
Updated credit card authorizations
At some point in late May or early June, we will need to re-authorize your credit card information if you have it on file with us. We will simply need to swipe or enter your credit card information into our new system, and confirm your billing address. We’ll notify you ahead of time when this date is finalized.
Better service and new tools are coming
As your go-to wood flooring supplier, we want to help your flooring business become successful and profitable. This new system will give us a modern platform that will support new tools to make your job ordering flooring and supplies easier and more efficient.
We’ll be doing much more work internally to give you a great experience, and make it as easy as possible to do business with us. We’ll keep you updated as these new tools become available.
We’ll be closed Monday, April 30
In order to launch this new system, we will need to be closed on Monday, April 30th. All TMC locations will be closed, and no product will be shipped that day. We’ll re-open Tuesday, May 1.
