How to Sell the Steadfast Collection

With unique color treatments and weathering, our Steadfast Collection is ideal for those looking for a statement piece in their home.

A unique feature of this line is the dynamic weathering on Legacy, Tradition and Heritage. The maple lumber is left outside and weathered 60, 75 or 90 days. You will see everything from splits to raised grains to natural water spotting. The result of this dynamic weathering is a truly one-of-a-kind floor.

Additionally, if you take a look at the edge of one of the boards, you’ll see that the color penetrates all the way through the wear layer. This allows dents or gouges to blend in with the rest of the floor rather than stand out.

We achieve this look through innovative color treatments that react with the wood. The color process changes the wood all the way through, as opposed to a stain that’s applied to the surface of the floor.

We always recommend ordering in a box ahead of time and showing the end-user to make sure they approve of the floor prior to installation.

Ideal Customer of the Steadfast Collection

The ideal Steadfast customer wants a floor draws attention and is a talking point in their home. They’re looking for an on-trend and innovative floor. They also appreciate the natural variation in color and texture on the floors. We’ve seen this floor become a popular choice for an accent wall, as well.

The Steadfast Collection has a highly durable urethane finish that protects it from normal wear and tear. We always recommend installing a whole-home humidifier to prevent gaps and squeaks. Additionally, only clean these floors with a wood floor safe cleaner and microfiber mop.

Our cleaning page goes through everything you need to know to keep your wood floors looking like new for years to come.
